FaceForYou V.O.F. ("FaceForYou", "we") processes personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and the Dutch GDPR Implementation Act (Uitvoeringswet AVG). With this policy we comply with our duty to inform under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.
1. Data controller
The data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR is FaceForYou V.O.F., Vlierweg 12, 1032 LG Amsterdam, CoC reg. no. 97637599, reachable via info@faceforyou.nl or 020 214 03 91.
2. Whose data we process
We process data of (prospective) clients and their contact persons, of cleaning partners and quality inspectors who register with us, and of visitors to our website.
3. Which data we process
- name, company name and job title;
- contact details such as e-mail address, telephone number and (visiting) address;
- details of your request, such as property type, surface area, location and frequency;
- for partner and quality-inspector registrations: CoC registration number, service area and uploaded certificates;
- correspondence and call notes;
- technical data during website visits, such as IP address, device and browser data and cookie identifiers.
We do not process special categories of personal data (Article 9 GDPR) and do not apply automated decision-making with legal effects (Article 22 GDPR).
4. Purposes and legal bases (Article 6 GDPR)
- preparing a proposal, the consultation and matching your request with a partner - performance of the contract or pre-contractual measures (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR);
- screening and assessing partner and inspector registrations - contract and legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR);
- communication, complaint handling and quality monitoring - legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- invoicing and administration - legal obligation (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR, including Article 52 of the Dutch General Tax Act (AWR));
- security and improvement of our website and services - legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR);
- non-essential cookies and any commercial messages - your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), which may be withdrawn at any time.
5. Sharing with third parties
In order to carry out the matching we share relevant data with the screened service provider; FaceForYou and the service provider are each independent data controllers. In addition, we engage processors (hosting, e-mail, payment and software providers) with whom we conclude a data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR). We disclose data to third parties where we are legally required to do so. We do not sell your data.
6. Transfers outside the EEA (Articles 44-49 GDPR)
We prefer to process your data within the European Economic Area. Where a service provider processes data outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of protection, for example through an adequacy decision or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
7. Retention periods
We do not retain your data longer than necessary (Article 5(1)(e) GDPR) or than a statutory retention period requires. We retain administrative and financial records for at least seven years (fiscal retention obligation, Article 52 of the Dutch General Tax Act (AWR)); data relating to requests that did not proceed for a maximum of twelve months. After that, we delete or anonymise them.
8. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures (Article 32 GDPR), including encrypted connections (TLS), access restrictions and logging. In the event of a data breach we act in accordance with the notification obligations of Articles 33 and 34 GDPR.
9. Cookies
Our website uses functional, analytical and, with your consent, marketing cookies (Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet)). See our cookie policy.
10. Your rights (Articles 15-22 GDPR)
You have the right of access, rectification and erasure, the right to restriction of processing and to object, the right to data portability and the right to withdraw consent. Send your request to info@faceforyou.nl; we may ask for additional information for verification purposes. As a rule, we respond within one month (Article 12 GDPR).
11. Complaint to the supervisory authority (Article 77 GDPR)
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) (www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl). We would appreciate it if you raised any complaint with us first.
12. Changes
We may amend this privacy policy where our services or laws and regulations give cause to do so. The current version is always available on this page.
