This Cookie Policy explains which cookies FaceForYou V.O.F. ("FaceForYou", "we") uses via this website and how you can manage your preferences. The placement and reading of cookies is governed by Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet); insofar as personal data are processed in that context, the GDPR also applies. This policy supplements our privacy policy.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device when you visit a website. Where we refer to cookies, we also mean similar technologies such as pixels, web beacons and local storage.
2. Consent requirement
Pursuant to Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act (Telecommunicatiewet), no consent is required for necessary and strictly functional cookies. For analytical cookies, third-party functional cookies and marketing cookies, we request your consent before placing them.
3. Categories of cookies
- Necessary cookies - required for the website to function and to remember your cookie preference. No consent required (Article 11.7a(3) of the Dutch Telecommunications Act; legal basis: legitimate interest).
- Analytical cookies - to measure website usage in anonymised form and to improve the website.
- Third-party functional cookies - for embedded reviews (Google, Trustpilot), videos or maps; these parties may place their own cookies.
- Marketing cookies - to make content and advertisements more relevant; exclusively with your consent.
4. Third-party cookies
For some components we use third-party services, such as Google and Trustpilot. These parties process data in accordance with their own privacy and cookie policies, over which we do not have full control.
5. Giving and withdrawing consent
On your first visit, we request your consent for non-necessary cookies via a cookie notice. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the cookie settings at the bottom of this page or by deleting cookies in your browser. Withdrawal applies for the future and has no retroactive effect.
6. Managing cookies in your browser
You can manage or refuse cookies yourself via your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect the functioning of the website. Instructions for each browser can be found in your browser's help function.
7. Retention period
Session cookies expire as soon as you close your browser; persistent cookies have a limited validity period that varies per cookie and are not retained longer than necessary.
8. Changes
